Eli Manning Among Greatest Quarterbacks
Eli Manning May have established himself among the greatest! He was automatically inducted into an élite list of accomplished NFL quarterbacks. On February 5, 2012, he and the Giants walked off the field with the Super Bowl XLVI Championship. Eli walked off with his second Super Bowl ring.
The list is short. Tom Brady of the New England Patriots holds an unprecedented five Super Bowl Championship rings. Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw each have four rings. Troy Aikman follows behind with three. Roger Staubach, John Elway, Phil Simms, Bob Griese, Bart Starr, and Ben Roethlisberger hold ownership of two rings each. And now, after taking home his second Super Bowl ring, Eli Manning joins this élite list!
Whether you love him or hate him, a fan or no fan at all, the facts speak for themselves! And the many books say it too! He is one of the few NFL quarterbacks ever to be named as the Super Bowl MVP in two straight Super Bowl appearances. Since becoming a New York Giant in 2004, Eli Manning has improved season after season. He has gained not only the respect from his peers, but has earned the accolades few ever experience in the public eye. Most analysts agree that Eli Manning will likely end up in the NFL Hall Of Fame.
Eli Manning is the son of former NFL quarterback great, Archie Manning. He’s the brother to Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback, Peyton Manning. The University of Mississippi enjoyed his presence on the field of play before entering the NFL draft. The San Diego Chargers chose the number one NFL draft pick overall. The Chargers immediately traded him to the New York Giants where he has established himself among the best.
